GJ CLONINGER and CO. and the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra (NJSO) will host the Art Strings 2005 Opening Reception on Sunday, January 30th, 2005, from 2 to 4 pm at 39 E. Hanover Avenue in Morris Plains. Meet the twelve artists who have created individual works of art using actual violins as their canvas. These violin art pieces are the prizes for twelve raffle drawings to raise funds to support the education and community programs of the NJSO Youth Orchestra.
In addition to the unveiling of the twelve violins, GJ CLONINGER and CO. will be previewing over 30 additional works by the artists that have donated their talents for this fundraiser. These original works will be for sale at GJ CLONINGER and CO. and the gallery will donate a portion of the proceeds from each sale of the artwork displayed during the duration of the show.
